Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies (GTCYS)
Participated in GTCYS, an advanced youth orchestra for eight years, progressing through the levels to their elite flagship group, Symphony, which attracts the best young musicians in the region.
Notable achievements:
Reached first chair and concert master throughout my tenure
Mentored younger students throughout, teaching violin technique, musical collaboration, and performance preparation
Includes eligibility for an international tour to New Zealand and Australia in 2026, with a notable performance at the Sydney Opera House
Martin Patrick & Fashionfest fashion show performances
For two years have performed solo violin pieces as a feature for the Martin Patrick “All Black” fashion shows, along with Fashionfest Minneapolis in 2023. Had to be able to perform in fast moving & high stress environments, adapt quickly, and more.
